Meet Your Local Therapist: Why I Do What I Do

Published on August 26, 2025 at 9:42 PM

One of the greatest privileges of being a therapist is witnessing parts of people that few ever get to see. I get to hold space for real, raw, honest human experiences — pain, strength, and everything in between.

Yes, I hear stories filled with grief, struggle, and heartbreak. But I also get a front-row seat to resilience, healing, and the kind of personal growth that inspires me daily. It’s powerful. It’s humbling. It’s why I do this work.

I’ve been on the other side of the room, too — in the client chair — so I get how vulnerable and courageous it is to open up to someone. It takes guts to do the inner work. And for everyone who chooses that path? I have deep respect.

What I Bring to the Therapy Room

🧡 I keep it real. What you see is what you get. I show up authentically, and I invite my clients to do the same. No masks, no fluff.

🛠️ I’ve done — and continue to do — my own healing. I don’t expect anyone to go places I haven’t been willing to go myself. I walk the talk.

✨ Your wins are everything. Whether it’s a big breakthrough or just making it through a tough day, your progress is what fuels me.

💬 I genuinely care. Every person who walks through my door matters deeply to me. Your story, your struggles, your hope — I hold all of it with care and respect.

If you’ve been thinking about therapy, or you're just curious, I’m here. And I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
